Home for Runaway Girls is imagined as the world of the runaway girl - the most free version of the girl inside each one of us. Our home is a reminder that we're all just girls, no matter where we come from or what we do.
Our Creative Ecosystem
We’ve built a circular ecosystem where commerce fuels craft. Our sales fund our creative projects, using the power of art to heal & to help women reconnect with their girlhood.
Our Sisterhood
Our pieces are born from a global collaboration with women-owned businesses, artisan workshops, and female empowerment cooperatives. We intentionally build our network around female-led spaces to ensure our craft supports the economic empowerment and creative agency of women around the world.
Our Materials
We work exclusively with solid 925 Sterling Silver, and use recycled silver where possible, because we believe jewelry should be an investment, not a temporary trend. As a fine precious metal, silver holds its intrinsic value and integrity over time. Unlike plated metals that hold no value, our solid silver pieces are designed to be polished and worn for a lifetime.
On request, we can plate our sterling silver pieces with gold plating or gold vermeil. The term 'Gold Vermeil' is often used loosely in the jewelry industry, frequently masking base metals like brass, copper, or nickel. However, we plate on top of sterling silver, because we believe your jewelry should be precious through and through. We never utilize inexpensive base materials, ensuring that your jewelry remains durable, and intrinsically valuable.
Sustainability
We create all of our designs with sustainability in mind. We refuse to overproduce, choosing instead to make your pieces either in small batches or made-to-order to respect the planet’s resources and the steady pace of true artistry. We use natural fibers in our clothing, minimize plastics wherever possible and constantly refine our process as we work toward a zero-plastic model.
